WILL BE WORKING IN THE WAREHOUSE PULLING AND RACKING PARTS, USE A PALLET JACK AND NEED FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE BUT CERTIFY ON FORKLIFT. WILL ALSO HAVE TO HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND MVR AS WILL BE DRIVING PARTS FROM ONE BUILDING TO ANOTHER ACROSS THE STREET.

Summary of Duties:
- Count Parts, verify stamp work order and print match place part on shelf in proper position. Fill out router with quantity.
- Handle parts with care. Protect them from damage and the elements.
- Inspect parts to insure that they undamaged and rust free.
- Maintain assigned area. This includes; labels, trash removal floors swept and insure all parts are in the assigned location. Aisle must be kept clear of hazards.
- Insure that all paper work is completed.
- Follow all company policies, department standard operating procedures, safety procedures, quality procedures, ISO procedures, and any other verbal or written instructions.
- Work in a safe manner, without endangering yourself or other employees.
- Coach any employee using unsafe practices, and/or alert the area supervisor, safety committee member, or member of management.
- Use all appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) for job.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays, to support production requirements.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on any machines operated, and inform supervisor of any other maintenance needs that exceed your ability.
- Stay busy if your responsibilities are finished look for other areas that need help and help them.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently handles and lifts material ranging from 5 to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds. Any loads over 50 pounds, or more than you can safely handle, MUST be done with the help of another employee or with a crane.
- Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, grease, or oil is routine. Overhead doors are frequently open which allows any outdoor pollens, allergens, etc. inside buildings.
- Requires standing most of the time, plus frequent bending and reaching to get parts. Frequent use of both hands/arms, working together, to get parts is required. Occasional stooping or climbing is required.
- Must have good vision, for both close up work, and distance. Prints or parts may have some small print that must be read accurately. Measurement equipment may have small print, or fine graduations that must be read accurately.
Job Skills/Tools Required:
- Thorough understanding of warehouse practices.
- Basic shop math for determining part sizes, locations of part characteristics, tolerance limits, counting parts, using ratios, or percentages, etc.
- Ability to read and understand Bills of Materiel.
- Ability to understand written or oral instructions, safety rules, company policies, etc.
- Ability to accurately use common inspection equipment such as a scale, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- The ability to use pallet jacks and/ or fork lift.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures.
Hours:
- Exact hours to be determined but will be Monday-Friday between 7:30am-4:30pm
